What is the student-teacher ratio at GGAS?We have an impressive student-teacher ratio of 9 students per teacher. This ensures that each student receives personalized instruction from their teachers and plenty of one-on-one time when needed. Is there a waiting list?That may, depending on the grade you're requesting. If there is a waitlist, it will be disclosed to you at the time of application, along with the possibility that a spot will open up for the start date you are applying for.

Can my kid start mid-year?Yes, GGAS admits new students throughout the whole school year, so you may apply at any moment. To that end, we always encourage new families to enroll their children as early in the school year as possible (every August) so that they don't miss any crucial instruction and have more opportunity to meet new friends and classmates.

Is there a Chinese and English program for students coming from overseas?We provide the best Chinese and English curriculum. We also care about Khmer curriculum, so you can teach your kids in a bilingual way.

Do kids get tested as part of the admissions procedure?There is an evaluation method, but it varies depending on your child's age. For example, in early learning, in-class observations are used, while in secondary school, tests of English and math proficiency are given. Also, you can be interviewed by the primary or secondary school principal (which can be done via video if you are not in Cambodia at the time).

At what age can I enroll for IB?Our school is an educational institution that offers the IB Program (Candidate School), only at Phnom Penh Thmei Campus. A comprehensive curricular program developed by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization. GGAS offers students aged 3 to 19 a rigorous and challenging education developed from international standards. The Diploma Programme (DP) curriculum is made up of six subject groups and the three DP cores, comprising theory of knowledge (TOK), creativity, activity, service (CAS) and the extended essay.
