Cambodian Curriculum
At GGAS, we comply with the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport Curriculum.

Golden Gate American School also offers full Cambodian Curriculum from Kindergarten to High School Diploma. Our Khmer teachers are qualified, experienced, and licensed teachers from the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport.

Kindergarten
Children aged 5 can enroll in our Cambodian Kindergarten Program without taking a placement test. Our preschoolers will learn to identify and trace Khmer consonants and vowels in this program. Furthermore, our students will be able to distinguish, identify, and trace Khmer numbers ranging from 0 to 40. After finishing kindergarten, students will be able to differentiate, name, and trace consonants, vowels, and numbers, as well as begin saying and writing words, phrases, and short sentences.
Cambodian Primary Program
Golden Gate American School also offers Cambodian primary school program with small class sizes and individual attention. All classes are taught in Khmer using a standardized Cambodian curriculum by qualified teachers from public schools. Students aged 6 years old can directly enroll in this program in grade 1.
Cambodian Middle and High School Programs
Golden Gate American School offers an optional Cambodian Middle and High School based on a Cambodian national curriculum. The diploma for this program is certified and issued by the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. All classes are taught in Khmer. Students can choose to take this program in conjunction with our other educational programs.
